Condemn the terrorist bomb blasts in Hyderabad

Both the principal parties of the ruling class, Congress Party and BJP, have very little credibility amongst the masses of working people. The bourgeoisie is hell bent on pushing ahead with the program of globalization through liberalization and privatization by attacking the livelihood and rights of the toilers and tillers. Polarising society on communal lines, spreading terror and breaking the unity of the people, and spreading jingoism against Pakistan are their favourite weapons to ensure that they can implement their plans.

Time for the people to reclaim from Parliament the power to decide

Statement of the Central Committee of Communist Ghadar Party of India, 1st August, 2011

The position of the Communist Ghadar Party of India is that the time has come to end the monopoly of legislative power held by the Members of Parliament.  The time has come to vest supreme decision-making power in the hands of the people as a whole, so that (i) absolute power is vested where it belongs, and where the toiling majority of people want it; (ii) no member of society is above the law, which is equally binding on all, and (iii) the will of the majority actually prevails.

Hail the Fourth Congress of our Party

Sir, I am writing to thank you for carrying the report on the Fourth Congress of the Communist Ghadar Party of India that took place in October 2010. The Congress has taken place as we approach the thirtieth anniversary of the founding of our revolutionary and patriotic party, and in the midst of the all round crisis of credibility of the bourgeoisie, its politics and its state. This has also been a period when the objective conditions for revolution have been ripening, whereas it is also the one where the subjective conditions have been definitely lagging behind.

The storm raised in India and abroad over the trial court verdict on the Bhopal gas tragedy of 1984 has deepened the crisis of credibility of the Manmohan Singh regime. From the painstaking evidence gathered by those fighting for justice for the lakhs of victims of this tragedy, it is clear as daylight that the then Rajiv Gandhi regime was more concerned about rescuing Warren Anderson and the management of Union Carbide from the wrath of the people, than about ensuring justice for the victims of the gas tragedy.

Women demand a new state power, new constitution and a new political system and process!: Call of the Central Committee of Communist Ghadar Party of India for 8th March, 2010

On the occasion of 8th March, 2010, the beginning of the centenary year of International Women’s Day, the Congress Party led UPA Government is tabling the Women’s Reservation Bill as its gift to the women of India. The aim of this Bill is to create reserved constituencies for women in every Lok Sabha and state assembly election, as the way to guarantee that at least one third of seats in these legislative bodies are occupied by women. This move has been welcomed by many parties including the BJP and the Communist Party of India (Marxist).

Halt the capitalist land grab and demand secure livelihood for all!

by Comrade Lal Singh, General Secretary, Communist Ghadar Party of India

According to the Raj Dharma, or science of statecraft, that was preached and practiced in the Indian subcontinent for several centuries before the colonial conquest, it is the duty of the Raja, or the State, to ensure prosperity and protection for all members of society.  The people have the Right to depose, even behead, a Raja who fails to fulfill this duty but instead oppresses the people.
