Such an event took place recently, at the initiative of the Rajasthan Council of Lok Raj Sangathan, a non-party political organization committed to the cause of bringing people to power.

On the tenth anniversary of the invasion of Afghanistan by US imperialism

Anti-Imperialist forces resolve to throw imperialists out of Asia

We denounce the decision of the Manmohan Singh government to send the Indian Army to Afghanistan to "train" the puppet Afghan army, set up by the US imperialists, to attack the Afghan people's anti-imperialist national liberation struggle. We consider this as an excuse to intervene in Afghanistan against our own brothers and sisters.

We believe that the fountainhead of terrorism worldwide is US imperialism.

Demonstrations at Haryana Bhavan in support of Maruti-Suzuki workers

Mazdoor Ekta Committee and Lok Raj Sangathan joined hundreds of activists of several organisations on 22nd September in a joint protest action in support of the struggles of the workers of Maruti-Suzuki. The protestors took out a militant rally from Delhi’s Mandi House to Haryana Bhavan, where they demonstrated.

On 9th September 2011, residents of Sanjay Colony, under the leadership of the Lok Raj Samiti, staged a day-long dharna in front of the office of the Delhi Jal Board (DJB) office in Okhla Industrial Estate Phase-2.  Besides registering their complaint against not being given water and ill-treatment by the Jal Board, the residents demanded an end to party-based politics in the operations

Maruti Suzuki worker's struggle against the undeclared lockout

On 12th September 2011, the Maruti-Suzuki Employees Union organised a huge rally from Kamala Nehru Park to the Mini Secretariat in Gurgaon.

This rally was organised to demand withdrawal of the requirement of 'good conduct bond', reinstatement of union leaders and other workers and recognition of their Union. More than 3000 workers participated in the rally.

Protest demonstrations in Hanumangarh against Rajasthan government

On July 27th, when the Rajasthan Chief Minister, Ashok Gehlot was singing the praises of his own government at Bhadara Panchayat Samiti in Hanumangarh district, Vice President of Lok Raj Sangathan Hanuman Prasad, who was sitting in the Press Gallery got up to interrupt the Chief Minister to draw his attention to the problems of power and water faced by the people.

Increased allocation of financial resources for providing health care in the public hospitals. This is required for uninterrupted full supply of life saving medicines and instruments required for life saving procedures in the peripheral and district hospitals throughout the state. Militant protest in Delhi against Obama's visit and for peace in South Asia

110810_obama_acorn_ap_605.jpgHundreds of activists marched from Mandi House to Parliament, in New Delhi, on the morning of November 8, 2010, to protest against the visit of US President Obama to our country. A sea of red flags and banners marked the event jointly organised by the Communist Ghadar Party of India, the Socialist Unity Center of India (Communist), the Jamaat-e-Islami Hind, the Lok Raj Sangathan, the All India Workers Council, CPDM, Delhi Shramik Sangathan and Janpaksha.

International working class day celebrated vigorously all across India

On May 1, 2010, workers with red flags in their hands, and fists raised, participated in May Day rallies all across our country. Workers from different branches of the economy participated in these actions. The call of our Party to the working class to unite around one program of the working class was enthusiastically received, as well as taken up, by workers.
