Campaign against Wage Code Bill and Labour Code Bill

ThumbActivists of Communist Ghadar Party of India organised a public campaign against the Wage Code Bill and Labour Code Bill from 2nd to 13th September across the Okhla Industrial Area and the residential areas of workers in the area. Hundreds of men and women workers attentively watched and listened to the presentations held at numerous locations and asked many questions.

Massive rally in Karnataka

Thousands of workers of Karnataka from the "unorganised sector" of the economy — those not covered by the labour laws staged a protest march in Bangalore on November 24, 2010.

Denouncing the practice of contract labour, the workers demanded a hike in minimum wages, ration cards to all workers, and rice at Rs 2 a Kg to every family.

International working class day celebrated vigorously all across India

On May 1, 2010, workers with red flags in their hands, and fists raised, participated in May Day rallies all across our country. Workers from different branches of the economy participated in these actions. The call of our Party to the working class to unite around one program of the working class was enthusiastically received, as well as taken up, by workers.
