An important public meeting was organized under the initiative of Lok Raj Sangathan on 10th May 2015, under the banner, “The lessons of history must not be forgotten”. The meeting was to commemorate the 70th anniversary of the defeat of Nazi Germany.

Public Meeting in Sangam Vihar

Sangam Vihar in South Delhi is one of Asia’s largest kutchi colony. The working class constitutes a majority of the residents. Residents face serious problems; they are not provided with basic services such as drinking water and sanitation (toilets and drainage). Electricity was provided only post-privatisation.

On May 1, 2010, workers with red flags in their hands, and fists raised, participated in May Day rallies all across our country. Workers from different branches of the economy participated in these actions. The call of our Party to the working class to unite around one program of the working class was enthusiastically received, as well as taken up, by workers.
