A system that cannot guarantee the safety and dignity of women and girls has no right to exist!

Recently, numerous incidents of abduction and violence against women and girls have taken place in Delhi and the surrounding region, including Gurgaon. Women and girls have been waylaid on their way back home from their workplaces and schools, raped, tortured and killed.

Conference in Chennai on the “Way forward for the working class”

An important conference held in Chennai on 26th February attracted communists and organisers of workers from various parts of Tamil Nadu.  The discussion centred around the thesis presented by Comrade Lal Singh on behalf of the Central Committee of Communist Ghadar Party, which has been edited and published as a pamphlet called Necessity for the working class to take power.

Assembly elections: This system of democracy needs to be changed

The Assembly elections held in five states —Uttar Pradesh, Punjab, Uttarakhand, Manipur and Goa – are over and new governments sworn in. In Uttar Pradesh, the Samajwadi Party has obtained an absolute majority and replaced the Bahujan Samaj Party in power. In Punjab the Akali Dal BJP combine has retained power. In Goa, the BJP has replaced the Congress.

Exploitation of the workers of Orient Craft Ltd.

On 19th March 2012 the workers of the Orient Craft located in the Gurgaon district of Haryana in Sector 37 got together and registered their vociferous protest against an attack by a henchman of the labour contractor. The worker had asked for the wages to be raised when the henchman attacked him with a pair of scissors.

100 years ago Ghadar Party was formed by Indians in the US.It was historic milestone in our anti-colonial struggle.
