After consulting with the capitalist associations in India and abroad, Chidambaram also held day-long talks with the Congress Working Committee. The aim of this exercise was to figure out what so-called concessions he ought to highlight in his budget speech, so as to fool the working people and not lose too many votes for the Congress Party in the coming state assembly and Lok Sabha elections.
It is a fact that in the whole period of privatization of Telecom services, the government deliberately ensured that the private players captured the major profitable sectors in the metros and other towns, while BSNL services were downgraded in precisely these areas. So we have the situation that in the countryside, in the hills, in the remote areas of our country, it is BSNL services that work, while in the big cities, the BSNL services are kept at inadequate levels to favour the private players. The government and management have ensured that private players can access BSNL networks without compensating it for the same.
The conditions in our country are crying out for a reorientation of the economy and reconstitution of political power. These together constitute the program for the Navnirman of India that our Party advocates.
The working class has to fight to become the ruling class!
May Day Call of the Communist Ghadar Party of India, 2011
Replacing one party or coalition by another in the existing capitalist democracy does not lead to any advance for the toiling masses. It does not change the capitalist orientation of the economy. It does not end the loot and plunder of our land and labour, nor the attacks on our rights. The only way the situation will change is if we who produce the wealth of India become her masters. Then and only then can we reorient the economy to provide prosperity and protection for all.
Mazdoor Ekta Lehar condemns with deep anger, the Indian state for carrying out the cold blooded killings of activists in various regions of Orissa to crush the opposition of the people to the mining projects of the biggest capitalist groups.
The all India general strike has been called to resolutely oppose the course of enriching the capitalist minority by impoverishing the toiling majority. It has been called to assert the rights that belong to workers, peasants and other toiling people who create the wealth of India.
Parties of the capitalist class claim that there is no alternative to the program of globalisation, liberalisation and privatisation. The truth is that there IS an alternative. The alternative is to reorient the economy to fulfil people’s needs instead of fulfilling capitalist greed. This is the program for the Navnirman of India.

The first part of this pamphlet is an analysis of facts and phenomena to identify and expose the real aims behind the Note Ban. The second part is devoted to a critical appraisal of the government’s claims that it will reduce inequality, corruption and terrorism. The third part is what Communist Ghadar Party believes is the real solution to these problems and the immediate program of action towards that solution.
Unite around the program to reconstitute the Indian Republic and reorient the economy to ensure prosperity and protection for all!
There is growing realisation among workers, peasants and other self-employed people that the program of liberalisation and privatisation only serves to enrich an exploiting minority at their expense. Mass resistance is growing to this anti-worker, anti-peasant and anti-national program.
