Imperialist disinformation

The statement of the CC of the CGPI issued on the 5th of May, 2015 entitled “Hail the heroic role of the socialist Soviet Union in the Second World War!” was issued on the eve of the 70th anniversary of the defeat of Nazi Germany in the Second World War, by the Allied forces headed by those of the Soviet Union. This defeat paved the way to the end of classical colonialism and the liberation of several nations, including India.

The fact of the matter is that soon after the end of the world war, it was the US that became the seat of fascism. From that day on, one sees the US embroiled in every single war in every corner of the globe. In order to cover its tracks, imperialism needs to constantly manufacture lies and carry out disinformation on an ever increasing scale. Disinformation is part and parcel of the imperialist plan to dominate the world.

Of the many points of disinformation and propaganda, one central theme has been to place the blame for the Second World War on the doorstep of both Nazi Germany and the Soviet Union. The Molotov-Ribbentrop pact is offered as proof that the Soviet Union conciliated to Germany, while the truth is that Soviet Union had been left with no allies, and needed time to bolster its capacity for its own defence. In fact, during the war years, the Soviet Union was always portrayed in positive colours and there was a great desire for the unity of the peoples of the Allied countries to fight the Axis powers.

The collapse of Soviet Union gave rise to a situation where the capitalists could carry out their business without any obstruction. All principles are thrown to the winds. Countries can be attacked, regime changes can be orchestrated, peoples of the world can be enslaved, anyone can be taken away under the pretext of being a terrorist, either due to their faith, or due to their ethnicity. The reactionary bourgeoisie is on a war path to hold on to its hegemony. This is the road map of the reactionary Anglo-American camp.

The Indian bourgeoisie which benefited from the tide of revolution in the nationalist struggle and the weakened position of the British after the war, today is embracing the same reactionary powers. It is our duty to fight against imperialism for a new tomorrow and sidestep all the traps, nationalistic, chauvinistic that are laid for us by the bourgeoisie. Let us work for a new India. I thank the CC of the CGPI for its heroic statement on the 70th anniversary of the end of the Second World War in Europe.

Election manifesto of a CGPI supported candidate for Lok Sabha

Parties of the capitalist class claim that there is no alternative to the program of globalisation, liberalisation and privatisation. The truth is that there IS an alternative.

The alternative is to reorient the economy to fulfil people’s needs instead of fulfilling capitalist greed. This is the program for the Navnirman of India.

Manifesto 2014There is growing realisation among workers, peasants and other self-employed people that the program of liberalisation and privatisation only serves to enrich an exploiting minority at their expense. Mass resistance is growing to this anti-worker, anti-peasant and anti-national program. However, the working class is being prevented from realizing its potential as the leader of all the exploited, and as the grave-digger of capitalism, by those in the communist movement who are spreading harmful illusions and compromising the class struggle.
