Vigorously celebrate May Day!

Comrades

May Day is approaching! It is that day when workers all over the world will celebrate International Working Men’s Day. We will celebrate that we are workers, and will not remain slaves! We will celebrate that this world belongs to us who labour, and not the blood sucking bourgeoisie! We will march proudly in May Day rallies in all the cities and industrial townships holding aloft the banner of struggle and sacrifice dyed red in the blood of countless martyrs in the struggle for the emancipation of the working class.

We workers are facing a massive attack on our livelihood and rights. The NDA government under Prime Minister Narender Modi, is clearly on a course to ensure that Indian and foreign multinationals can make maximum profits by savagely exploiting the land, labour and natural resources of our workers and peasants. All the laws of the land are being made even more favourable to the capitalists. All the policy pronouncements of the government are aimed at ensuring the same.

We workers of India have a glorious history of sacrifice and struggle. Textile and jute mill workers, tram workers, railway workers, coal mine workers, steel plant workers, port and dock workers, plantation workers — workers from different sectors of the economy joined the battlefield in the struggle against colonial bondage and against capitalist slavery. Today, from bank and insurance workers, to teachers, doctors and nurses, from road transport workers to airline workers, as also workers from all sectors of industry are on the path of struggle. Our aim is to halt and reverse the anti social offensive of the bourgeoisie, of globalization through liberalization and privatization. Our aim is to eliminate capitalism, the imperialist domination and plunder, and build a society free from all forms of exploitation of persons by persons.

The Communist Ghadar Party of India calls upon all communists, all working class activists, to vigorously work to make the May Day rallies in all the cities, towns, and industrial centers of our vast country a total success. Let the coming May Day be a powerful message to the broad masses of workers and peasants and all the oppressed that we communists are ready and capable of providing leadership to the working class and people in the battles ahead!

Election manifesto of a CGPI supported candidate for Lok Sabha

Parties of the capitalist class claim that there is no alternative to the program of globalisation, liberalisation and privatisation. The truth is that there IS an alternative.

The alternative is to reorient the economy to fulfil people’s needs instead of fulfilling capitalist greed. This is the program for the Navnirman of India.

Manifesto 2014There is growing realisation among workers, peasants and other self-employed people that the program of liberalisation and privatisation only serves to enrich an exploiting minority at their expense. Mass resistance is growing to this anti-worker, anti-peasant and anti-national program. However, the working class is being prevented from realizing its potential as the leader of all the exploited, and as the grave-digger of capitalism, by those in the communist movement who are spreading harmful illusions and compromising the class struggle.
