Youth organisations launch joint campaign against communalism and fascism

Seven youth organisations — All India Youth Federation (AIYF), Democratic Youth Federation of India (DYFI), Revolutionary Youth Association (RYA), Hind Naujawan Ekta Sabha (HNES), All India Democratic Youth Organisation (AIDYO), Revolutionary Youth Front (RYF), and All India Youth League (AIYL) — have initiated a country wide united campaign against communalism and fascism. Many other youth organisations have also joined this campaign. Together, they have decided to organise conventions, human chains, and other forms of protest to highlight the concerns of youth at the grave situation facing the people of our country.

Martyrdom of Ghadaris Bhai Ranga Singh and Bhai Balwant Singh commemorated

March 16, 2016 marked the martydom day of Bhai Ranga Singh and Bhai Balwant Singh. On this day, a hundred years ago, Bhai Ranga Singh kissed the hangmans noose. Exactly a year later, Bhai Balwant Singh was hanged. These two patriots were hanged by the British colonialists for participating in the revolutionary uprising organised by the Hindustan Ghadar Party which was aimed at overthrowing British colonial rule over our beloved motherland.    > read more

100 years ago Ghadar Party was formed by Indians in the US.It was historic milestone in our anti-colonial struggle.

The goal of this party was to organise a revolution to liberate our motherland from British servitude and establish a free and independent India with equal rights for all. It believed this to be the necessary condition for our people to hold their heads high anywhere in the world.
