Subsequently, on 3rd December they held a demonstration in the capital, Jaipur. Thousands of employees who had come from all parts of the state carried out a Akrosh rally from Ram Bagh to the railway crossing at Civil Lines. On 8th December, 5,00,000 employees of the state took mass leave. On 11th and 12th December the employees went on a hunger strike.

The former President of Rajasthan Shikshak Sangh (Pragatisheel) and retired teacher, Shri Hanuman Prasad Sharma said that the anomalies of the Fifth and Sixth Pay Commission have still not been sorted out. If we are not able to correct these anomalies through our struggle then we will be leaving an even more complex problem for the future generations. Therefore, we should put aside out ideological and other differences and unitely escalate the struggle. The struggle will be long. We should carry out this struggle with all our might and resolve.
