Lal Salaam to Comrade Gandharv Sen!

Dear Comrade Surinder

Gandharv Sen Kochhar

We are deeply grieved to know of the passing away of Comrade Gandharv Sen Kochhar on March 14, 2018. For our entire party and for me personally, Comrade Gandharv Sen exemplified the revolutionary spirit of the Hindustan Ghadar Party. Throughout his life, Comrade Gandharv Sen never wavered, even one single moment, from the lofty aim of liberating India from all forms of exploitation and oppression.

He fought to keep alive the revolutionary traditions of the Hindustan Ghadar Party and made a significant contribution to the communist movment in India. He was one of the principal organisers of the Desh Bhagat Yaadgaar Committee.

Comrade Gandharv Sen was a true Ghadari, a revolutionary fighter throughout his active life, till his last breath. At a public meeting held in Nurmahal by the Desh Bhagat Yaadgaar Committee on the occasion of his 99th birthday, Comrade Gandharv Sen reaffirmed his faith in Marxism-Leninism and his complete conviction that the Indian people would certainly take the path of the Ghadaris and liberate our country.

Comrade Gandharv Sen cherished warm feelings towards our Party. I will always remember, with the highest regard, his words of advice and encouragement for our party.

The passing away of Comrade Gandharv Sen is a great loss for the Communist Ghadar Party of India and for the entire communist movement. On this sad occasion, on behalf of the Central Committee of our Party, I would like to convey our heartfelt condolences to you, to all members of your family and to all comrades of the Desh Bhagat Yaadgar Committee.

Lal Singh

General Secretary,
Communist Ghadar Party of India

Manifesto 2014Unite around the program to reconstitute the Indian Republic and reorient the economy to ensure prosperity and protection for all!

There is growing realisation among workers, peasants and other self-employed people that the program of liberalisation and privatisation only serves to enrich an exploiting minority at their expense. Mass resistance is growing to this anti-worker, anti-peasant and anti-national program.
