Protest action against politics of hate

The Delhi state committee of the Welfare Party of India organised a protest action at Jantar Mantar, New Delhi, on July 23, 2019, against the politics of hate and for stringent punishment of the guilty. Lok Raj Sangathan and Rashtriya Jan Kranti Manch also participated in the protest action.

All over the country, the ruling class is actively promoting the politics of hate and violence. In particular, people of the Muslim faith are being targetted by murderous mobs, in the name of gau-raksha, etc.

The protest was addressed by representatives of all the participating organisations, which included Dr. S.Q.R. Ilyas, Siraj Talib, Md. Arif Akhlaq, Ehsan Firozabadi and Miskat Hashmi of WPI, Birju Nayak of Lok Raj Sangathan and Balvir Singh of Rashtriya Jan Kranti Manch
