In the meantime, the administration called the leaders of the Kisan-Mazdoor-Vyapari Sangharsh Samiti and assured them that all the issues would be resolved soon.

Keeping in mind the assurance given by the administration, the Sangharsh Samiti has decided that they will suspend their struggle till November and will review the work of the administration.
The farmers of Nohar tehsil of Hanumangarh district have been agitating for a long time for getting the irrigation system in their area fixed through canal maintenance work and by having enough water in the canal. If these problems are solved then the farmers of Nohar tehsil will get a lot of relief.
It may be recalled that hundreds of farmers, workers and residents of Nohar tehsil had held a dharana demonstration under the leadership of Kisan-Mazdoor-Vyapari Sangharsh Samiti in front of the District Magistrate’s office in the beginning of September. They had warned the administration that if their demands were not fulfilled soon, then they will have to escalate their struggle.
In the demonstration, leadership was provided by the President of Kisan-Mazdoor-Vyapari Sangharsh Samiti, Shri Mandan Beniwal and Juglal Khati, Vice President of the All India Council of Lok Raj Sangathan, Shri Hanuman Prasad Sharma, Shri Surendra Sihag of the Kisan Vikas Sangharsh Samiti, Shri Krishna Godara of Jal Upbhokta Sangam, Farmer’s leader Shri Gurmel Singh, Comrade Kuldeep Bhambhu and Zilla Parishad member Shri Rajendra Sihag. Hundreds of peasants had participated in the demonstration.
