Meeting of Loco Drivers of the Delhi Branch

The Delhi Branch of the All India Loco Pilots’ Association (AILRSA) held their meeting on 10th June 2012 in the loco workshop of the Purani Delhi Railway station. Many young loco pilots participated enthusiastically in this meeting. A majority of the loco pilots had participated in the Second All-India General Body Meeting of the AILRSA, held successfully over two days in Bengaluru. The determination to implement the decisions taken at that GBM was clearly reflected in the enthusiastic participation of the young loco drivers in this meeting.

This meeting was presided over by the All-India Association’s Vice-President Com. Ramcharan and its Zonal Secretary Com. Sunil.

The activists of the organisation elaborated on the discussions and decisions of the GBM. There was detailed discussion in this meeting on the strategy to implement the decisions as fully as possible. The focus of the discussion was on strengthening the organization in the North in the coming days, increasing the membership and establishing new branches. The loco drivers present at the meeting made it very clear that they were determined to implement these decisions.

The office bearers announced forthcoming events to be organized by the Association. They announced that a branch would be inaugurated in Ghaziabad on June 17th and that the meeting of the Central Working Committee would be convened on 28-29th July.
