Zonal Working Committee meets in Moradabad

The Zonal Working Committee meeting of the All India Loco Running Staff Association was held in Bisnoi Dharamshala in Moradabad on 1st August 2015. The office bearers and loco pilots of the Northern Division took part in this meeting.

Addressing the meeting, the all India general secretary comrade M. N. Prasad raised several issues. He elaborated on the issues of National Industrial Tribunal (N.I.T.), Foreign Direct Investment (F.D.I.) in Railways, hours of work (H.O.R.E.), work of higher grade employees being entrusted to lower grade employees, shortage of staff and other legitimate demands.

He said that there will be no “acche din” for the workers; instead, workers are going to face hard days ahead. Therefore it was necessary to strengthen the organisation for the coming period so we can face the difficult days ahead.

The meeting was chaired by Comrade Paramjeet Singh.

Comrade P. C. Jha and comrades of various other divisions also addressed the meeting. comrade S. S. Handa (Lucknow division), comrade Mahesh Chand (Moradabad division), comrade Padam Singh (Delhi division) and comrade Shaini (Ambala division) took part in the meeting.
