Public Meeting to Commemorate Shaheedi Diwas held at Sirsa

“Festivals will be organised every year at the pyres of the martyrs; this will be the remembrance for those who give up everything for the country”. Putting this principle into practice, the Lok Raj Sangathan and the Gramin Aanchal Raksha Dal organised a program to pay homage to the martyrs in village Madhosinghana of Sirsa District of Haryana on 23rd March 2016. Hundreds of people, young and old including a large number of women and girls, participated enthusiastically in this program. The slogans of “Inquilab Zindabad” that punctuated this program reverberated from the skies.

Pawan Beniwal, the Sarpanch of the village, presided over the function while Shri Harsh Parikh conducted the proceedings. Greeting all those who were present in the meeting, the head of the District Gaushala Shri Rajendra Jandu urged Lok Raj Sangathan to organise such events in the village time and again.

On this occasion, veteran teacher Shri Omprakash Sharma elaborated upon the lives of Shaheed- E - Azam Bhagat Singh, Rajguru and Sukhdev. Comrade Kuldip Raja Jhandu of the Gramin Aanchal Raksha Dal said that they would work together with Lok Raj Sangathan to organise such programs in several villages. Comrade Mahendra Chand Sindhu called upon the youth to work closely with Lok Raj Sangathan to form peoples samitis to tackle the injustices perpetrated by the State.

Comrade Dunichand,  secretary of Lok Raj Sangathan Haryana Council addressed the gathering and exposed the dirty conspiracies that were being hatched against the people of the state. Explaining the true significance of the sacrifices of the martyrs Bhagat Singh and his comrades, he called upon the youth to unite in the Lok Raj Sangathan.

Comrades Jashan Loni and Sonu Kaspa rendered the song “Rang de basanti Chola..” paying homage to the martyrs. Master Hari Singh Bhambu, Master Sant Lal, Comrades Gopal, Gulshan and Jagdish, all members of the village Panchayat, the leader of the Gramin Aanchal Raksha Dal Shri Sanjay Birda, Shri Bhangeram Sunda, Shri Sonu Sain, Shrir Harsh Charik and many others were present on the occasion.
