Code of Conduct

Code of Conduct

Code of conduct for usage of online tools at CGPI.org.

Dear participants in our Discussion Board,

These are our simple guidelines for participation:

  1. All visitors who wish to contribute to the discussions are required to register a few simple details.
  2. We advise that each user may only register under one username for regular use of the web site.
  3. This is a discussion forum, and we wish to encourage discussion, not stifle it. The administrator will be as light and unobtrusive as practicable.
  4. Please keep your discussion related to the statement or article being discussed.
  5. Do take the time to articulate your questions and doubts. There are always questions that haven't found an answer yet! No questions are considered foolish.
  6. Please keep the tone of your posts respectful. No obscene or offensive language or statements that may be judged to be defamatory should be used. Focus on issues; No personal attacks. Think of this as a virtual meeting - don't write anything that you wouldn't say to someone in person. The anonymity of the internet is NOT an excuse for unacceptable behaviour. Any comments not in adherence to the code will be moderated or deleted.
  7. Critiques of people's work should be constructive, and if possible, informative and supportive. If you don't like something, say so then suggest how it could be improved.
  8. We aim to let discussions run their course as long as there is continued interest in them, but we will close down discussions that have not received any recent contributions and have become only of historic interest, or where the contributions are detracting or repetitive.
  9. We request that all users bring to our attention any material posted in this forum that they consider defamatory, so that we can consider its removal from the site.
  10. WE STAUNCHLY BELIEVE IN THE RESTORATION OF COMMUNIST UNITY. LET OUR POSTS CONTRIBUTE TO THIS WORTHY AIM.
