Communist Ghadar Party of India condemns this inhuman barbaric act. It is an act designed to inflame passions and war hysteria against Pakistan. It has led to a setback to all initiatives from India and Pakistan to move towards normalisation of relations, including cultural exchanges.

Spreading disinformation about 1857 continues to this day. Those who want to maintain the existing State and worship its Constitution propagate, in one form or another, a distorted picture of 1857. They deny that it represented the assertion of the masses of Indian people that they must be the master of society.

This is in response to the May Day call of the CC of the CGPI dated 29-4-2017 entitled `Strengthen the united working class opposition!' carried in the May 1-15, 2017 issue of MEL. This is an excellent piece of theoretical and practical work, the hallmark of the CGPI, and an excellent piece of tactics in the ongoing class struggle towards the goal of socialism and emancipation of the working class and liberation of society from the shackles of vicious capitalist enslavement.

Way out of crisis of Agriculture

I am writing to thank you for carrying the important and educative article entitled 'What is the way out of the crisis of agriculture?' in the May 1-15, 2017 issue of MEL. This article is an outstanding example of Marxist-Leninist analysis of the concrete problems faced by the people of the country engaged in the agricultural sector, accounting probably for 70% of the population. The article begins by noting the recent directive from the Madras High Court to the Government of TN to waive all farm loans through cooperative banks.

100 years ago Ghadar Party was formed by Indians in the US.It was historic milestone in our anti-colonial struggle.

The goal of this party was to organise a revolution to liberate our motherland from British servitude and establish a free and independent India with equal rights for all. It believed this to be the necessary condition for our people to hold their heads high anywhere in the world.
