Dear Editor
I have just read the article- Nurses are braving the COVID-19 crisis in the face of heavy odds. It is really shocking that those persons who are saving the lives of their fellow-beings are being ill-treated. The government is not taking any measures to protect them either from being attacked physically or from the infection by providing them adequate and quality personal protective equipment.
The government should take full responsibility for protecting all human lives. All health services should be brought under its control. Going forward after this crisis, there should be a move to end privatization of the health sector.
